Alathur Srinivasa Iyer (Telugu) and Aalathur Sivasubrahmania Iyer(Subbu), a Tamilian ,who combined vidwath and vyavahara, were ‘brothers’ only by their music. They were trained by Alathur Vekateswara Iyer , the father of the latter. They are flanked by Lalgudi and Mani Iyer.
